Monique Peyre is a Boise based hairstylist who has spent the last five years specializing in bridal hair through her business, The Braid Lounge. Monique was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated cosmetology school in November of 2015- and went straight to working behind the chair at a rental salon. Around the same time she began dabbling in the entertainment industry, working on celebrity hair. Monique has had the experience of styling for the Grammys, Oscars, and other red carpet events. She also had the unique opportunity to assist the hair team on NBC’s show, The Voice. This was an Emmy Nominated hair team that Monique got to train under, and she credits a lot of her styling work to her time spent working on this show. Monique still has the Los Angeles mindset when styling hair- and this is to waste no time, and to always aim for camera ready hair regardless of the event. She strives for perfection in her craft and business, and continues to grow her team every year.
